Lean Boot Camp

Duration:  Custom

The origin of what we know as Lean Enterprise Management began with the Toyota Production System (TPS) which morphed into Lean Manufacturing, Lean Healthcare, Lean Office, Lean IT  and a host of others that were primarily focused on the improvement of operational processes.  Lean focuses on the elimination of anything that does not add value to the customer.  That which does not add value is considered waste. The thinking has evolved now to consider process and human improvements in non-operational areas such as R&D, accounting, human resources, marketing and sales, supplier management and others.  Emercomm has taken this thinking to another level and developed education, technology and a methodology that maximizes efficiency and eliminates waste throughout the organization. Our Lean Boot Camp allows you to fast track your lean initiatives and engage the whole team in the process.  It combines the fundamentals of Lean with the Lean topics that you need to achieve success in your particular business.   Contact us for more details or to book the Lean Boot Camp for your team. Lean Boot Camp is available as a public offering once or twice a year with a minimum of six attendees. Contact Us

Leading the Change: The Lean Leadership Requirements

Duration: Half Day

The ability to change the culture of an organization from ‘same old’ to the ‘restless quest for excellence’, which is the mark of a Lean organization, is primarily dependent upon leadership. Effective management is necessary as well, but leadership has qualities that require abilities that are beyond effectiveness.

In this workshop, we will discuss the seven requirements for effective leadership and the priorities for success in leading the change to Lean.  We will then assist the attendee in determining their ability to lead the change and the gaps they may need to overcome.

This workshop is of interest to anyone that is, or will be, involved in leading change and continuous improvement projects within an organization.  It is also a good starting point for executive teams as they begin their journey towards Lean. Contact Us
