Four Levels of Competency

In this paper, I will build on the idea that the reader has identified a need to correct one of their “SQ” factors and wants to move forward on a path to becoming competent. As a quick review for those who haven’t read the last paper, the SQ factor is the combination of your Emotional Quotient (EQ) and Cultural Quotient (CQ) factors. EQ factors are related to your ability to control and utilize your emotions effectively in interpersonal activities. CQ factors are related to your ability to recognize and react appropriately to different cultural situations.
